I was very anxious about living in Canada because I didn’t speak english. I didn’t know how I could make new connections. But then I figured that even though I don’t know how to speak English I can still communicate with others.

Emociones Mari-timas

This work represents the emotions I felt when I arrived in Canada. The color yellow represents excitement and happiness; the color gray represents feeling nervous and the color blue represents calm and tranquility, which is where I am now. The name is inspired by my emotions (emociones) and Mari-timas (Mari the name of an important friend) , the rest (timas) is just to bring it together. Maritimas also means, maritimes.
